Usage, Analytics, and Advertising Data

• Basic analytics via Google Analytics, such as page views, session duration, browser type, and general usage patterns.
• Advertising-related data collected or processed by Google AdSense or similar advertising technologies when ads are displayed.
• Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies according to Google's own policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the app — storing and displaying your stats and logs
• To improve the app — understanding which features are used most
• To display ads or support messages that help cover server and maintenance costs
• To respond to support requests sent to our email

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers such as Supabase, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense as described in this policy.

3. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Your data is kept as long as your account is active.
• You can request deletion of specific records or your account at any time by contacting us.
• After a deletion request is processed, associated app data will be deleted unless we need to keep limited information for legal, security, or service operation reasons.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited information only as needed to operate the app or comply with legal requirements:

• Supabase Inc. — our backend provider, which handles database storage and authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase servers under their privacy and security policies.
• Google Analytics — used to understand basic app usage and improve the service.
• Google AdSense — used to display ads and help cover operating costs when ads are enabled.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or a valid legal process.

5. Data Security

• Passwords are never stored in plain text — authentication is handled securely by Supabase Auth
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
• Row-Level Security (RLS) is enforced — you can only access your own data unless access has been granted
• Access to the database is restricted to the minimum necessary

6. Cookies and Local Storage

The app uses your browser's local storage to maintain your login session and improve performance. The app also uses Google Analytics and may use Google AdSense, which may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies for analytics, measurement, fraud prevention, and advertising. You can clear local storage or manage cookies through your browser settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Request account deletion

8. Children's Privacy

Inning Log is designed for use by players, parents, and coaches. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are entering information about a player under 13, you must be the player's parent or legal guardian, or have permission from the player's parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or that a child's information was entered without proper permission, please contact us and we will review and delete the information when appropriate.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through a notice in the app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
